Microsoft needed to capture parts of the human body for Human factor studies.  After a few successful case studies Microsoft decided to hire me to create their own scanning lab. We started with designing an arm scanner that would scan from hand to elbow . From there, I designed and built with my partner Mimic Studios, this 36 camera head scanning system. The unique frame design along with the instantaneous capture provided them the accuracy necessary for measured human factors, and the speed of capture desired when dealing with large study groups.
